Communications & Motion Graphics Designer

Brief:
We are looking for a Communications Designer & Motion Graphics Artist who can produce creative assets for brand and marketing: infographics, stop-motion graphics, illustrations, video, other types of graphic design, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and conceptualize digital media advertising and high-end videos
- Own the creation of digital assets, email design, animated banners, motion graphics & video
- Conduct user research and translate insights and learnings into engaging designs
- Shoot, edit, and animate video and/or instructional videos
- Operate a range of equipment (e.g. video cameras, drones, DSLRs etc), sound and lighting
- Create digital graphics to bring edits to life, including GIFs to promote videos, events & campaigns
Requirements:
- Strong instincts for how layout, type, color & images contribute to impactful design
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in brand design, photography, video production, video editing & motion graphics. School projects and coursework will be considered, and professional work is a big plus
- Must have exceptional attention to detail
- Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working closely with teams
- Have impeccable design judgment, & be able to clearly articulate your design rationale
